CensorNet is available from us as either a hardware appliance or as a certified VMware virtual appliance.

CensorNet™ Professional is a Web Content Filtering & Control software solution that provides enterprise class content filtering technology at a price point affordable to any type of organisation. The product allows an organisation to control access to the Web based on category, time, user or workstation and provides complete protection from malware, phishing, obscene images and viruses.

• The comprehensive Category Server contains over 65,000,000 known Web sites categorised into over 70 categories.
• Included as standard is the Active Image Control image filter which inspects over 13 different image formats for unsuitable and offensive content, replacing suspect images with a safe symbol.
• Available as an optional extra – On-Demand Virus Scanning powered by Panda Security. This module scans and disinfects web pages and files before they reach the Web browser. The module can detect viruses, Trojans, dialers and spyware using the latest detection techniques.
• Available as an optional extra – Malware Protection. This extension to the Category Server adds millions of web sites and files with an indication as to whether they are clean or are known to contain malware. This extremely fast way of detecting malware is based on discovering, downloading and testing every Windows executable found on the Internet by using a behaviour analysis system which installs each program to determine whether it contains malware. The resulting list of URLs is added to the Category Server on a daily basis.
• Available as an optional extra – Phishing Prevention. This extension to the Category Server adds the Anti-Phishing Working Group’s list of known phishing sites to CensorNet Professional. This extra protection helps remove the risk of users divulging confidential information in response to e-mail scams and counterfeit web sites.
• Decrypt and filter secure SSL/HTTPS web sites on-the-fly to protect against encrypted threats such as anonymous proxies – a technique used to bypass traditional Web filtering systems.
• Automatically enforce safe searching on leading search engines such as Google and Yahoo!
